HNT Chapter 4
I like to walk. I like to run. I enjoy writing haiku. I teach English. I also like to read my books.
I already have hundreds of books. Many of them are about travel. I like travel book by people who actually walk, run, ride bicycles, and ride horses. I don’t like books about traveling in cars, ships, and planes so much.
More than one hundred years ago, walking was a sport. People walked for days without sleeping. There were walking champions of the world. These days, they are marathoners, ultra-marathoners, mega runners, journey runners, transcontinental runners and so on.
Mami and I both like reading. When we travel, we like to read. But any book, even a paperback, is heavy to carry, so we should read the same books. They should only be in English, because I can’t read quickly in Japanese. But English books are sometimes hard to find in Japan. What should I do?
Perhaps one way is to write a book instead. It could be about our holiday in Japan. That would keep me plenty busy. Perhaps this is the very book.
